How did you turn your hobby into a small shop?

Crocheting has always been my passion, I really love crafting my designs and writing patterns. This drove me to transform my hobby into a successful small shop. I'm so happy to encourage others to enjoy ready-made crochet or learn through my kits.

Do You Crochet Full Time?

Yes, after years of being a mum facing an empty nest & working for 30 years for charity based organisations, supporting people affected by substance misuse, I made a life-changing decision to crochet full-time in August 2023. This shift allows me to fully focus on my creative ideas for the future.

Do you run everything yourself?

While I mostly handle everything independently, I recently brought in a staff member to manage my website and marketing. Additionally, my husband, is a crucial part of the team, serving as the Head of Logistics.

What’s Next?

On a personal level, my priority is to ensure I have enough downtime to take care of my well-being. As for Home On The Hook, I aspire to have every item in the shop either ready-made or available for others to create through kits or patterns.
